Firebrox is the pedal-powered sound system used on the London Friday Night Skate between 2006 and 2011, and this is the web site where you can find out what's going on with it.

Firebrox takes its name from the Brox Compact bike frame that it’s built on. For audio it's presently equipped with a pair of Celestion SR1 MK2 PA speakers and accompanying SRC4 protection unit, and two 12″ subwoofers, all driven by a fiendishly (perhaps unnecessarily) complicated USB/MP3 head unit and powered by two SLA golf cart batteries. For motive power it's equipped with a SRAM DualDrive hub/derailleur giving 27 gear ratios, driving the offside rear wheel, and powered by the rider pedalling. And it has Magura Big disc brakes on all four wheels
